TikTok is rolling out a new feature to bring creators closer to their audience. Bulletin boards” are now available all over the world, including France. The format is inspired by Instagram, Whatsapp and Messenger.
A bulletin board is a simple distribution space. The creator speaks. The audience listens and reacts. The format is designed to share news, announcements, behind-the-scenes or more exclusive content. Subscribers cannot respond, except via emoji reactions or polls. Each new message triggers a notification for subscribers.
During the test phase, several profiles have already used it. Artists, media outlets such as People and PSG have used the tool to push rapid updates to their communities.

The bulletin board is created in the inbox. Open the dedicated tab, click on “Create a bulletin board”, choose a name and confirm. The creator can decide whether or not the channel is visible on their profile.

You can access it directly from your profile. An icon appears under the bio. One click is all it takes to join and start receiving messages.
