95 million views: NRJ breaks all records at the NRJ Music Awards
The 27th edition of the NRJ Music Awards, broadcast live from the Palais des Festivals in Cannes on 31 October, once again confirmed its status as a major music event on social media. Seven days after the broadcast, the ceremony hosted by Nikos Aliagas attracted 3 million TV viewers, dominating key audiences:
- 43% audience share on women under 50 (FRDA-50)
- 38% on 25–49 year olds
- Up to 58% on 15–24 year olds
But the biggest achievement came online, where the NRJ Music Awards 2025 broke every record.
95 million social views: NRJ doubles its performance year-on-year
Between 22 September and 7 November, content related to the 2025 NRJ Music Awards generated over 95 million video views across NRJ’s official social channels — more than double last year’s results.

Platform-by-platform metrics reveal a spectacular trend:
- Instagram: 43.7M views (+209%)
- TikTok: 23.3M views (+8%)
- Facebook: 23.7M views (+159%)
- YouTube: 2.1M views (+46%)
- X (formerly Twitter): 1.4M views (+89%)
- Snapchat: 0.4M views
These exceptional results reflect both huge audience engagement and NRJ’s ability to extend a TV broadcast into a full-scale social media experience.
A textbook example of “TV + Social” strategy
The digital success of the NRJ Music Awards can be traced to several clear strategic levers:
- A multiplatform approach with exclusive content
- A mix of official clips and behind-the-scenes footage to tell the full story
- A high publication tempo before, during and after the ceremony (red carpet, backstage, performances, viral moments…)
- TF1 x NRJ x TF1+ collaborations to maximise reach
