The release of LUX, Rosalía’s new album, has sparked a wave of high-performing content across major media brands. Three outlets stand out in particular LOS40, France Inter, BBC and NRJ each with a different strategy, but all with strong impact.
LOS40 clearly dominates Rosalía-related coverage thanks to an event-driven and ultra-reactive approach. For the first time, Rosalía performed a brand-new song live during an awards ceremony.
France Inter opted for a more editorial and introspective approach — something that consistently works when the station highlights global artists.
In the show À la régulière, Rosalía discusses the human and spiritual dimensions of LUX, her relationship with light… and even her affection for French rapper Jul.
Clips from the interview have surpassed 1 million views on both Instagram and TikTok.

Similar to the winning formula used by France Inter and Skyrock, NRJ achieved its best results with a crossover moment: Rosalía reacting to a video message from Lisa (BLACKPINK) during her appearance on the Supershow NRJ.
By contrast, the standard interview announcement post generated very little traction.
Surprisingly, while Rosalía was physically in the studio with Nick for BBC Radio 6 Music, her interview with Jack Saunders on BBC Radio 1 was done via video call.
That didn’t prevent the UK station from posting excellent numbers. First came a highly effective teaser that openly embraces the video-call format:

The main clip, also filmed via visio, then reached 228,000 views on Meta. Unlike most French interviews, this one is calm, minimalist and extremely natural: Rosalía answers questions honestly, phone in hand.

Just like Taylor Swift, Rosalía understands the power of radio.
